Senior Account Manager

Purely Automotive Recruitment is offering an exciting opportunity for a focused and dynamic Senior Account Manager, for our client based in South Manchester. Our client is a well-established company specialising in both car and van leasing and personal contract hire to businesses and private individuals across the UK.    

Ideally you will have a successful sales background in Account Management (B2B) from an industry that leads you to win new clients and manage existing accounts.      

You will be incredibly energetic and vibrant being at the forefront of the organisation, and will have the dedication to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting new business sales and forging strong relationships with new and existing clients.  ​  

The role is open to qualified candidates located within a commutable distance to south Manchester.   

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing their own base of new client accounts and forming trusted relationships with key decision makers. As Senior Account Manager, you will have a strong focus on acquiring new business through a controlled selling environment and have the ability to identify lasting business opportunities. You will also be able to competently maximise the selling opportunities available to you through internal channels.   

You will also possess the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels. You will possess the ability to generate your own leads through a variety of sources, and have the ability to network and build rapport whilst managing your sales pipeline right through to conversion. Attention to detail is a must, as is the ability to meet targets and deadlines.    

Responsibilities:   

Manage the sales process by taking prospects through good qualification, and presentation of a suitable offerings, and recognise the most appropriate time to close the sale.     

To understand all forms of vehicle funding offered by all approved finance houses to the company.    

To have a basic understanding of the tax implications for both private and business individuals.     

Promote and sell the organisations products and services in a compliant manner, as well as having a good knowledge of motor vehicles including electric vehicles and charging solutions.     

To identify and seek new business opportunities whilst updating management systems documenting purchasing dates and predicted renewal dates.    

Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.     

Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals.     

Deliver exceptional standards of customer service upholding the company values.    

Work closely with all departmental teams and schedulers to ensure you meet deadlines and deliver high levels of value and client satisfaction.     

Ideal Skills & Competencies:     

We require a professional sales specialist with previous business to business telephone sales and account management experience. Ideally, we would like a candidate from within the automotive industry, however; we are open to finding the right candidate with exceptional sales qualities for this position. As a result, we will consider candidates with a strong sales background in B2B and a passion for providing customer excellence. 

You must be able to demonstrate a strong passion for the business and possess an engaging capability to open doors with new clients, establishing their needs and requirements.   

You must be able to present and deliver an effective proposition online or over the telephone to win new business for both private and corporate individuals.    

You must be articulate, possessing exceptional communication and negotiation skills and be immaculately presented.  

Possess an excellent ability to manage the sales pipeline and to negotiate and close contracts.   

Results oriented with a genuine passion for exceeding targets. ​  

Possess the right skillset to properly manage client accounts through proactive engagement, whilst providing complete customer satisfaction to increase client retention levels.
