Purely Automotive Recruitment proudly offers a wonderful opportunity for an Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join our client and their team based near Knutsford in Cheshire. Our client operates an independent automotive service and repair centre based in a modern facility with a fantastic working environment.

Requirements

As an Apprentice Vehicle Technician, you will get a full accreditation/NVQ Level 3 qualification within the Automotive industry, more specifically within a well-established business that services and repairs some of the world’s most leading brands. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has a keen interest in the Automotive industry and are looking to start a career, to go through a full 3-year Apprenticeship that our client will provide. Training will be provided onsite to gain on the job experience, you will have the potential opportunity for a day release plus on-line studies to obtain full accreditation/NVQ Level 3 qualifications.

You do not need any experience for this role and it would be ideal for someone who has left education recently and wants to start a career, or for anyone looking to change their career.

Each year the salary will increase as you pass through the accreditation levels, and by the end of this qualification you will be looking at an annual salary in excess of £25,000 plus a bonus structure.

About the role

·       To assist and complete allocated tasks as per instruction
·       To work with colleagues to maintain workshop standards of cleanliness and tidiness
·       To maintain the work bay and surrounding areas in a clean and tidy condition
·       To ensure that within your area of operation that all Company and Trade Association policies, procedures and minimum standards are met and all statutory requirements including trading standards, fire, health and safety are adhered to
·       Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and ensure that the company brand experience is delivered to all contacts at all times
·       To attend all training programmes
·       To take personal responsibility for the daily maintenance of workshop equipment, and reports equipment defects or problems that need attention
About you
 
·       Have a keen interest in Motor Vehicles
·       Have a basic understanding of IT Microsoft packages
·       A high level of enthusiasm and determination

·       Have a GSCE grade “C” or above in Maths and English
·       Commit to the complete programme
